I'm not sure if it's because I went to an all girls high school or lots of women are like this but now that i am at uni i cannot help competing with guys. i don't mind if someone is smarter than me, comes up with better ideas than me or anything like that, but i find myself competing with guys. like in group work where a leader is not appointed i tend to find myself sharing the role with a guy and the 2 of us sort of competing for the top role by offering ideas and seeing which the group prefers and trying to outdo each other.
i'm not sure how this starts, it just happens, i find myself in a sort of competition that never seems to happen with girls.
do other women find this also?
