Do you find this weird?

Ok, so I have a friend, whom I recently reunited with and we started talking and hanging out with again because we somehow lost touch after we graduated school, just to give you some background information. She literally texts me every other day or two days, and every weekend, she wants to do something. She doesn't seem to realize that I have other friends and other plans too and I know she thinks that because she implied it in conversation, or at least she doesn't think I have other friends that I am close to. I feel that this is both offensive and ignorant for lack of a better word. I mean, just because she doesn't know any of my other friends doesn't mean I don't have them. She's also not the type of friend that I'd want to spend time with every weekend, but since she doesn't think I ever have other plans, I guess she thinks I'm always free. How would you handle this? What do you think about this situation in general?
 
Why is that weird? That sounds typical to me, but anyways you should just say something like "oh (insert name), you always call the day ahead of time! We need to make plans sooner to find time for this. How does next Saturday sound? Or would Sunday work better?"

Short and sweet. And it makes it seem like you took the initiative to make time for her. She'll be thankful.
