...why bother - they are LOOPY!?
Mr Ducky
That was some funny gear. Oh deary me. Thanks for making this atheist feel even more defeated *LMAO*
I actually started compiling a list called "Dumb Things Christians Say on Yahoo Forums" I was only two days in and I had pages, but this stuff takes the cake!!!!!!!

Believer or non believer, here, they're all the same to me.
It doesn't stop me from talking to them, after all simple acts of charity are the mark of a well rounded man.

It is an effort that will never see an end. They do not have reason, they answer great questions with a combination of the words, "because" "faith" "evidence" "god" etc.. and cannot give logical answers to logical questions. If deciding to argue with theists of any kind, if you have more knowledge of their faith than they do you can put them into a corner they don't like to be in. It's funny to watch. My husband has more knowlege of christinanity and catholicism than most christians or catholics but truly does not believe in god. His knowledge scares them.

I find it interesting to observe how some will embrace their beliefs so tightly that they defy logic and reason.

It's a study in human nature which helps make clear how some of the crazy stuff happens in the world as a result of religion.

Plus, turnabout is fair play. If people are going to deny funding for stem cell research, dictate the legality of how or whom I have sexual intercourse with, or censor books from public school libraries, they can expect a response which they will find unsavory.
