Just wondering. Me and my MIL are always bickering over little things, like letting the baby sleep on his stomach vs back,She says stomach, I say back. our opinions differ on a lot of things. She called me a twit for saying bar hopping was grosser than escorting, because I said escorts at least get their johns screened and bar hoppers stick it in anyone lol. I also like to let him watch treehouse disney while he falls asleep (I think it's educational), she says it's terrible for him. He's 21 months, watches it for an hour and usually passes out. Shes always telling me to give him lots of juice when he goes to bed, but I think it's too sweet before bed.
She wants him wearing gloves and socks when its warm out if she thinks the wind has a chill to it (I get cold very easily so when I say warm, its WARM) She insists on using babytalk with him and calling her sunglasses "Eyes" even when I've asked her loads of times to call them sunglasses, because I think baby talk slows down mental development. His favorite phrase has been "Whats that?" since he was 15 months old - so I'd like to be accurate without overstuffing his head.
A lot of the time, I feel like she thinks I'm some sort of invalid, because I look things up on the computer instead of listen to her advice. She says people just say crap to see how many people will believe it. I believe that, but not about EVERYTHING lol..
