Do you ever end up spitting feathers at the end of a film?

I hate that! I usually don't mind a film or don't like it...but sometimes I hate films where you start off enjoying it and then they completely destroy it half way through, turn it into a different film and you end up screaming at the screen.....

'Why for goodness sake's..Why!

I just sat, for the first time, through the film 'Crush' tonight on film four. I had always meant to watch it, and was really enjoying it until they took the plot and turned it on it's head halfway through (I won't say what in case anyone hasn't seen it) and made it in the end, so unbelievable, I felt a bit cheated as a viewer! There was such a different story in it from what they started with, and they went for a deep story line when it really wasn't meant to be.

I was so cross I was ranting at two hours of wasted time to my OH when I came upstairs. I could have stopped watching it..but I wanted to see if they would redeem the film in some way..yet they didn't. It just got worse.:(

Don't they show these films to test audiences to see if they work or not? I went on IMDB to vent my spleen after...and pretty much everyone else felt the same as me.

Okay..rant over on this film. But my question is...have any films made you feel this way? That you wasted a few hours of your life on a film that promised so much, yet delivered so little and ended up with you crawling the walls! :D (Well slight exaggeration..but you know what I mean). :)

What film has made you spit feathers!

I liked this film, maybe because it was filmed in my home town and local area, but I thought it was quite diverse from the "usual" love story. I could identify with the lead character (who I dislike, btw) falling in love with a youger model and the angst that goes with it. Quite a twist, compared with the average happy ending...

yeah i was just messing :D . Its funny how that phrase has changed meaning over the years.... anyway back on topic, i normally get bored of bad film endings/twists. i don't get worked up, just walk out and think to myself about how i could've done it better.

Hitchhiker's Guide - a talented cast wasted on an awful mess of a film. I've never read the books but I knew the story and wasn't expecting two hours of people shouting at each other and little else. Waste of a bank holiday monday.

*CRUSH spoilers here for anyone who has not seen it*

I think I got peed off (sorry I have no idea how to do spoilers) as the lovely lead got killed off, which didn't seem necc..necse....I can never spell that word...relevant.

He could have just run off and come back at the end. :( Also the way the lead character just forgave all her mates..just like that. After they had basically put a nail in her lovers coffin.

Blah.

And then, to add insult to injury....a straight woman kisses another girl randomly at a wedding and boom..she and her are both lesbians!!

Sorry...but it started off so well, but went downhill fast! :D

I so wanted to love it too.

I watched Sexy Beast the other night and enjoyed it but the ending was weird and made no sense, also hate films that suddenly finish and don't explain things!
