Do you ever discuss Madeleine McCann's disappearance with people face-to-face?

It's not something that comes up very often with people I know, but when it does come up they are usually surprised and rather shocked by the attitudes and theories of some people on these boards.

Do you ever discuss the disappearance of Madeleine McCann with people face-to-face and how do they respond?

I have never met a single person face-to-face who thinks her parents were in any way involved in her disappearance.

I have met people who are sickened at the accusations made on these boards and elsewhere on the internet.
I have met people who feel the parents made a mistake in leaving their children to sleep in their apparantly safe holiday apartment. In retrospect it was a mistake and one that the McCanns have admitted and expressed thier regret over.

I have spoke face-to-face with people about it. Some people feel the same way about it as me and some don't.

I don't feel the need to crusade my opinions.

yes i do , and strangely enough we all think there is something very odd about the whole thing

I discussed it with family in tjhe early days, I was playing devils advocate and put forward the conspiracy theories.
I was told to shut up. LOL

I dont discuss it any more.
As on these boards my friends,family and I all have wildly differind opinions about Maddie,her parents and the whole Tapas 8 (or is it 6).

It leads nowhere so I just dont bother.

No. I watch and read about current theories on her disappearance, but never actually discuss it with anyone
