Do you consider oral sex SEX?

This is really a matter of opinion. And I'm sure everyone's opinion on the matter will be different. But I'm really curious as to what people are going to say. Do you count oral sex as regular sex? Be honest. If someone were to ask you how many partners you had or how many people you've had sex with, would you just count those that you had intercourse with, or would you also include those you received or performed oral sex on.

So for example, if a 25 year old woman who has had intercourse with 2 men, and performed oral on 3 other men (that she did NOT have intercourse with), how many partners has she really had? 2 or 5? Voice your opinions people and please explain why. This is for a human sexuality class I'm taking in college so the more input, the better! Thanks
 
that was a bit confusing, but as far as me answering that question about would you consider oral sex, sex? my answer would be yes. i've never given oral to a guy, but my bf has to me twice. it was ok, but not nearly as good as the real thing. though it did feel good, but not close enough. it's still a form of sex. i'm not into oral sex, and it's odd because i see nothing wrong with receiving oral sex for me, but giving it is nasty! i don't put anything else if my mouth unless it's food lol. we don't do oral sex that much, but still. i consider it sex.
 
No, I don't consider it the same at all.

a woman could performed oral multiple times on multiple guys, but never had intercourse. shes still a virgin, a penis never penetrated her vagina.

that's the legit way of thinking about it.
 
I do not consider it sex. I consider it a something 'sexual' but I don't consider it "sex" if that makes sense. I would say that she's been "sexually active" with 5 but has only had "sex" with two.
