Hate takes too much energy wasted.
I come here for the "enjoyment" poetry brings me and to further my
understanding of it's art. I like the sharing of the good, I just try to let the rest go, consider the source, not take it personal.
 
some people would say i spread hate, i like to think it as educating the less educated masses
 
i come on here to read, to post one every now and then and to get a laugh. i come here to see what things are being written to one another. i also, come here to see what ma has to write.

by the way, where is Ma?

Sometimes I write things I later regret. But never in hate or with the intention of spreading hate.
 
I come here to read your poetry, and read other people's answers to it. It is amazing how people read something in different ways and give their thoughts of what the poems are about. And yes, sometimes I answer them too.
 
to read, be enlightened, be bowled over by your bawdy humor, to enjoy the play on words, the wit and the double entendre ......... but never ever to cause misery ........ **boo hoo cries & stamps feet** .... how could you ever think such a thing.

i'd rather chew off my left arm than hurt another ......;0)

I come here to read contacts poems. Actually, just your's and ma's, and a tee hee hee once in a while.

Oh wait...Dutch, Irish, English...a splash of Native...never mind.

I enjoy a bit of poetry occasionally. I am mostly here, though, because a few online friends frequent the joint.

My opinion on my own poetic attempts, such as they are, is that I seem to have an occasional wish to put feces to paper.
 
I come here because I keep forgetting where I am. Do any of you happen to know where I'm supposed to be right now?
 
I come here mainly to read poetry; there are so many truly fantastic ones; most are varied in structure and poetic devices; free verse is nice too; many are innovative, and earn my 'bravo'. I come here to seek advice and critique when I post a poem, another reason why I am here. I like trying out different forms, alas the sonnet eludes me:) I care not at all for hate; honesty, sincerity, and constructive analysis taste far more sweeter. Bitterness is not my cup of tea.
 
I come to read, get advice and sometimes, when I get the courage - to post.
Spreading hate to others is not my objective ever.

Though while I was sleeping I was called a sycophant and a lesbian on here all on the same q. That's kinda neat.
 
I come to this section a lot.

I often feel as though I have nothing to contribute (here) though.
 
Those who come to read poetry must be sorely disappointed most of the time by what's on offer. Very few come for poetic advice because they're convinced they're already brilliant, which is why they post their stuff - to seek the adulation of the adoring masses. As for spreading hate to others, that'll be those sending emails containing hate and lies about other participants to all their contacts. I am The Mighty Iano and I claim my best answer award.
