I sure dont!!! They didnt care for us, the consumer, when times were good and they kept raising prices of new vehicles. We ( yes, you and I the taxpayers) gave them billions in a bailout disguised as a loan and now they are begging for more. I know the autoworkers need their jobs and I have nothing against them, but good grief, billions for an industry that makes products no one wants or can afford???????????

I agree that the US auto industry has been mismanaged, but
should we punish their workers & the economy because a
few at the top made bad decisions? Is this any time to add
hundreds of thousands to the unemployment rolls? Would
the economic cost of their failure be less than the cost of
the bailout? There is no good choice. We must put our anger
and resentment aside and do what will cause the least harm.

I do, Ford has improved quite a bit with the quality of their vehicles

No I don't. If they go broke, that's their fault

They can just come in luxurious car asking the public to pay for their flaws

not really, their cars (for the most part) really aren't as good as so many other car companies, plus almost all are just giant gas guzzler SUV's.

but i understand why we need to have american car companies. If we ever got into war with japan, korea, or parts of europe we wouldn't get car imports.

You'll have a million more unemployed if they go under. Besides, the government of these foreign auto companies were paying for their health care. Their auto co's didn't have to foot the cost.
