What do you mean...if you think Obama does what you want him to do. The leak will be patched up faster?
 
Until yesterday I knew almost nothing about it except hearing vague comments about how this is Obama's Katrina and other retarded shit... Read up on it last night.

Sucks, but I have a hard time caring very much.
 
Gas prices WILL go up even though the spill has nothing to do with the supply we are getting

Yeah its bad, but it's far from the end of the world scenario the radial left is trying to make it out to be. Aside from that, China dumps a shit load more waste into the ocean than this and nobody is crying about them.
 
doing work on the weekends through memorial day. I am changing to another firm so I have it easy compared to others.

I have a lot of friends in the industry and none of us want to see this happen. Everyone is trying to get this stuff solved.
 
I care a lot because it makes private industry look bad during a time when America is in the midst of a philosophical battle concerning the merits of government vs. business. I support BP and hope they can get the situation under control for their own sake. Few of the people demonizing BP appreciate that they are by far the ones who are hurt the most by this, and frankly a lot of leftists are secretly enjoying the carnage because it lends superficial support to their worldview while at the same time giving them something to complain about.
