Do you believe we should celebrate dates in war? I don't?

Today my country is celebrating ANZAC day for the hundreds of soldiers that died in Turkey on this date. To me it seems that it brings up past events that should be left buried. It singles out a certain group who died and doesn't pay tribute to the thousands that have died and still dying on every other date of war. I think that it is promoting war by getting everyone involved emotionally and I think that it is a way of controlling people. To me rememberance day means more and I think that should be a public holiday. A lot more died in the second world war. To me i think we need to move on and forget about war. It's voilent and curupt. If another war breaks out then believe me i would fight for the right to live but if i died i wouldn't expect anyone to cry over it 100 years later. I would have hoped that we move on.
