I can't decide whether or not this is true. Usually, the popular novels (by "popular" I don't mean Twilight or Harry Potter level-I mean the kind which most serious writers know about, but if you asked some teenager about them, you'd probably get a "Huh"? For example, Prince of Tides) are pretty good. Even if you don't like them, you can at least see why others do.
On the other hand, there are many great writers and novels that go practically unheard of. It seems unfair.
Do you think that if a novel is truly well-written and interesting, it will soon get at least some acknowledgment?
