Do you apply first to the University or to the Financial Aid?

I am studying in a community college, hopefully I will transfer for a 4 year university, and I was wondering, if you have to apply first to the University, and then the Financial Aid, or vice versa??
Thanks

Financial aid...that one takes longer to process, especially compared to a community college. You can really do either one at any time but that would be my recommendation. Good luck!

It doesn't really matter. Just do both ASAP. You don't want to wait too long on either of those.

Well, most colleges won't even let you apply for financial aid if you're not admitted at the college in the first place. Think about it. If you fill out financial aid for the college, how can they process it if you're not even in the system? Apply at the college first to ensure you're enrolled there, then fill out financial aid (including the FAFSA).
