Do You Agree With The Hike On Health Insurance For Smokers Who Work For The State?

I think its in like 5 states already- liberal states. That State employees will get tested even, if they are a smoker they have to pay like 600.00 dollars more a year for health insurance now. Do you think this is fair?
What about overweight people- who eat 50 cookies a day?
Or alcoholics who are destroying their liver?
Where do they draw the line? 1 out of 3 smokers don't even get cancer, now they say 1 in 3 women will get breast cancer even if they don't smoke.
 
That's how health insurance & life insurance has worked in the real world for years.

I smoked for 20 years but I quit & looking back it was stupid. Quit & do yourself a favor.
 
I don't smoke but I am overweight and yes ~~the obese people should

pay more then a person who is fit and has no vices
 
Yes I agree. Smoking is the leading cause of lung cancer and heart disease. TO consciously make the choice of increasing your odds of getting sick you should pay more instead of having the costs be put upon me with increased premiums.

Do yourself a favor and quit!
 
Absolutely not. That is discrimination. Are they going to outlaw sugar drinks, deep fried food, candy bars?

I think the only fair thing to do is to gather them all up and have them summarily shot. You don't have to worry about health care then.
