terminology have to be put? their historical context?
For example, it is/was okay to show GW Bush as a monkey but it is not okay to show Obama as a monkey because that has been used as a racist term/image for African-Americans in the past.
the same theory would be true for every race - that derogatory images/terms used for a particular race would be racist in regard to them but not in regard to others who don't have that history
seems like common sense to me. Think of this another way. When you speak with an African-American (or for some of you, if you were to do so) would you think twice or regret using a term that has historically been used as racist moniker?
