...Jihaad die as pre-islam hypocrates? Ibn Kathir says the following in his Tafsir:when explain verse 2:216

Az-Zuhri said, "Jihad is required from every person, whether he actually joins the fighting or remains behind. Whoever remains behind is required to give support, if support is warranted; to provide aid, if aid is needed; and to march forth, if he is commanded to do so. If he is not needed, then he remains behind.'' It is reported in the Sahih:

(Whoever dies but neither fought (i.e., in Allah's cause), nor sincerely considered fighting, will die a death of Jahiliyyah (pre-Islamic era of ignorance).)
?One who died but did not fight in the way of Allah nor did he express any desire (or determination) for Jihad died the death of a hypocrite. (Sahih Muslim 2:4696)
(Muslims say fighting is not good.which is expected,because the quran says “fighting is good for you….but you (muslims) dislike it”)
The prophet Muhammad (saw) reportedly said, with commentary by Muhammad Hamidullah
“I am the prophet of mercy, I am the prophet of war”
