re:Holwoodstar who did not pay the bill? BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. -- A Hollywood waiter is claiming an encounter with "Hung" star Jane Adams cost him his job at a popular eatery.

Jon-Barrett Ingels, 31, claims Adams, who plays Tanya on the HBO series, visited celeb hot spot Barney Greengrass (the cafe on the fifth floor of Barneys New York in Beverly Hills) in July and "skipped out on a $13.44 check," he posted on his Twitter page earlier this summer.

"Her agent called and payed (sic) the following day. NO TIP!!!" he wrote on July 17.

And as it turns out, it was venting on his Twitter page that ultimately cost Ingels his job.

By punishing the ones looking after the business, the owner of the restaurant is sending out the signals that say to the world
1. come and eat and do not pay. We will protect you over any of our staff who would make you pay if you do not wish to do so.
Business practices like that can guarantee that they will be out of business soon.
WHY?- they are pronouncing "We dont need MONEY to stay in business!!"

Yes, they were right to fire him due to the amount of business they may have lost due to his big mouth. He should have handled it discretely.

I dont think it was right to fire him. People rant about their jobs...its part of life. And if you put yourself in the position of a so called 'celebrity', you know people are going to talk about you. People complain to tabloids and magazines all the time about celebrities being cheap or inconsiderate...they dont lose their jobs.

Even if she didnt have the money on her..because you know, wealthy people often walk around without a dime on them, you cant tell me she didnt have the means to have the cash or money brought to her. Its common sense...you go out to eat..you get a bill, and you pay it.

How many phone calls do you think it took to have this waiter fired? Now how many phone calls do you think it would have taken to get the bill paid?

Open letter to barneys, there employees, and every one who goes there.

I wanted to let you know that I will not be shopping or eating there, because of your treatment of Jon-Barrett Ingels. After 5 years because of some little low life star Jane Adams that no one will ever remember in 5 years.

Shame on you, I go to New York on business 4 times a year and I spend between $800.00 and $1,500.00 at Barneys each time I'm there, I have been shopping there for over 30 years, but no more.

You really do not have a clue on how angry people get when you favor some spoiled little piss-on over a man who has to work to support his family.

Good Work on buying the worst press coverage you can get.
