increase in obesity? Not so awful long ago, most moms cooked just about every meal for her family...and there wasn't the high rate of ones being overweight/obese. Now a lot of women (and men) do not know how to cook. Do y'all think that if people...both boys and girls were given an incentive to learn to cook as children...the obesity rate would drop?
Ebey, I hope you aren't implying that you think I feel anyone is lesser because of the size she is. I, myself, am overweight...and a great cook. But I can't help but to think that if more people stayed away from restaurants, and cooked for themselves, the obesity rate would quickly drop. Portion sizes are usually much smaller, and aren't filled with added fat, salt, and whatever else.
