Do women sometimes start arguments because they expect that the man will back down or otherwise concede- as opposed to him actually firing back and/or calling the bluff? My girl has done the break up and makeup with me a few times now, the latest being a few moments ago. This time she said something like 'ok, if it's not about money, then give me the $300 back and we're done' (we had just come from a casino where she had won like $2700 and gave me $300 while I sat with her).
Now understand that the initial fight tonight was nowhere near big enough for us to break up over (I told her I was tired after having sat for 4 hrs watching her gamble, and she thought I should've sat a little while longer with her). So I'm thinking she said this assuming that i'd be like 'no, we don't have to be done here, let's talk some more', while instead I said something more like 'Ok, here. Alright, we're done'. Regardless of who was right or wrong, you don't go from being in great spirits (it was her birthday when this happened) to having one argument and saying that you're done before the car ride home was over. Right? -Unless it's usually a bluff, i'd think.
