Do watercolor paints stay on clothing fabric?

I ran out of fabric paint and I really need an alternative and all i have left at home is watercolor. will this stay if i dont wash the garments?

No That's Why There Called Water Based Paints

If you don't wash them and get them wet. Mix them with very little water, to make them more concentrated.

I bet it would stay if you don't wash the garment, but I would assume the color would be really light and not very vibrant.
