Do Wasp's benefit the environment?

I am almost certain they do not make honey like Honey Bees do and Bumble Bee's at least pollinate plants, but what do these annoying things do? I usually see them make hives in places like tree's, picnic tables, gutter's, etc. But what do they do other then that? I saw one fighting with a Bumble Bee one time, that was cool. Other then that they just fly around and annoy the hell out of people. I hate when they make nests in out gutters or picnic tables. We don't call exterminators we just get a bunch of cans of that Hornet and Wasp killer and also Raid and just spray the heck out of 'em! It's fun to watch em freeze and drop down one after the other.

If it was Honey Bee's then I would definitely call a Bee Keeper to come pick them up or something, but we haven't come across any yet. It's just been Wasp's so far and kill them all good. I'm personally not really afraid of them, but some of any family members are, and believe me when I say the Wasps always annoy them and even sting a couple times too.

What do these things do for the environment? I heard they kill bugs like flies, caterpillars, etc. But i rather have have all those type of insects flying around then Wasps that can potentially kill people (some people are allergic in my neighborhood). It just seems like they are a pest to society. Oh btw the Wasp killed the Bumble Bee in the fight for those who were wondering.
 
They're apex predators of the insect world. It's the same thing that happens if you take a tiger out of an ecosystem-- the prey destroys all the plants and overredproduces and harms the environment, causing the prey to die from lack of food.

Your dislike of them is a dumb reason to say they're useless. Tigers, dogs, and elephants are dangerous too, should we just go kill them all?

You're an idiot and not thinking particularly hard into the matter. Damn, I'm actually offended that people can be so uninformed.
