I was wondering. Because I began becoming veg like week ago and I am going to be 14 soon. I want to check to make sure that I am allowed to eat fish alittle, I hasn't eaten fish since I became vegetarians, cuz I wasn't so sure. And how do u keep your smell and eye off steak? Steak used to be my favorite dinner, but it's really hard to avoid for first time. My family and friends is having steak for dinner tomorrow, none of them are vegetarians.

Please Help!
Thank, and sorry for my bad english.

No, fish is not appropriate for vegetarians. There is a type of diet, known as the pescetarian diet, where people avoid the flesh of mammals and birds, but do eat fish and seafood. It is sometimes confused with vegetarianism, I'd imagine because it excludes some meat.

I'd load up on all of the side dishes and be sure that you have a favorite vegetarian alternative ready. When my family goes out for steak, I usually wind up with whatever the chef cooks up... it's usually an awesome pasta dish. I also recommend a portabello mushroom or two. Brush it with olive oil and cook it however you used to do your steak (unless you cooked the steak in lard or bacon). It's not the same, but it is pretty tasty.

Good luck!

No..vegetarians do not eat ANYTHING with a face lol
on the other hand considering you have just started
I find its alot easier to transtion over to vegetarianasm when you cut the meat out first..and stick to seafood for awhile until your ready to give it up!..people who only eat seafood are what you would consider Pescatarians they do not eat meat like vegetarians but they do eat fish like meat eaters...when I first decided to be vegetarian I went over to pescatariansm first..I was a pescatarian for actually 6 months (long time) I had seafood about 3 times a week for the hole 6 months..then I transferred over to vegetaranism and I found it became easier for me! I have now been a vegetarian for 3 years,I suggest you take it slow and give up meat but enjoy seafood every now and then..then when its time and you feel 100% ready move onto being a vegetarian!..Goodluck =]

some people who claim they are vegetarians eat fish but they're not real vegetarians. Don't worry there are so many delicious things that are vegetarian!

I'm vegetarian and I don't eat fish. After all, they're still animals who feel pain when killed. I did miss steak and some other things at first but when your friends and family are eating it, think of the benefits you're getting when you're missing out on it. Plus you have food alternatiquern meats such as Quorn products which taste just like meat.
