Do unseen colors exist?

Do unseen colors exist? Colors we never seen before or simply don't exist in this universe, I get the feeling that extra colors do exist but they're unimaginable because we never seen them. Just like dogs only see black and white so they have no idea there's a whole new world of colors..

Colors that are undiscovered, will they ever be seen?
 
is that even possible?
i think my teacher brought this up, its pretty cool to think about.
