They care about gpa. But there is hundreds of thousands people in the whole world with max gpa results, while in harvard accepts only few hundreds.
So, if there is hundreds of thousands people with max gpa results and if there is only few hundreds free spaces in harvard, they must choose between students with SAME gpa results, therefore they will accept those, with better reference letter and those who come from more prestigious schools. Am I right?
