...State University students? I'm considering about attending SF state, because my grades probably won't get me to a UC. Plus, i don't want that kind of fierce competition when trying to get into medical school... or the hard work load that can criple my GPA.
But i do worry about the budget cuts hindering classes. i heard that in some cases, students can take seven years or more to get their undergrad because they could not enroll into their classes due to budget cuts. I heard this happens to state students. Do UC students face this problem also? Should i go to a State school? Will graduating late look really bad on a medical school application, even though it is due to ability or lack of effort, but lack of opportunities?
