I would like to ask this to everyone on here, now personally I think people are trying to hard to copy anything for animated films. And this is clearly going outside Disney, now for granted when Disney was back in the gain of success in the 90's but it didn't stop other studios to try to make something out of them. You remember these days? We used to get a bunch of animated films that were 2D and people thought of them as Disney films. Films like Swan Princess, Ferngully, any film by Don Bluth, to various other lesser known films like Cats Dont Dance.

Now I should remind that everyone that I'm not against anyone who happens to like these films. I personally like Cats Dont Dance and Ferngully for both animation and music. I should say that most animated films like the ones Ive mentioned above are made by people who used to work for Disney, in any way whatsoever.

But now with every CG animated film that has come out. People have been trying to copy Pixar, but doing it in a different matter. And most recently some animated TV shows are basically copying each other for a long time now. So what do u think? Do u think the people in the animation industry today are trying to hard to "copy" something thats already been done in animation?

It's no real surprise, in any form of media people are going to copy what is successful. In the 90s it was the 2D animation that Disney was doing and now it's the CGI movies that Pixar is doing.
