Do they swipe student IDs at University of Texas football games?

My friend gave me two student tickets to this weeks UT vs UTEP game- the only problem is that while I have a valid UT student ID, my girlfriend who I am taking only has her ID from when she graduated UT (a couple years ago). I've heard that they only scan the tickets and check to make sure you have a student ID but I just wanted to make sure that we will both be able to go to the game... Anybody know?
 
at ohio state, a very similiar school to yours, i remember them scanning the ticket but vaguely looking at the id. before i was enrolled last year i went to a game and my sis gave me her ID and i just covered up her picture. im guessing UT is the same as far as how little they really care. those rules are there to prevent the student body from taking full advantage of the scalping possibilities they have.
