Nope, they dont teach us that stuff-__-
Its personally stupid I think I would like to learn these things from school by a teacher but unfortunately I have to rely on the internet and my parents.
We only learned in 5th grade about our periods and stuff

I am appalled at the ignorance I find on Women's health section of Y/A in regards to women and teens knowing nothing about their bodies! Do they not teach health class in school anymore?

For instance, I have seen people answer questions with these responses:
*Breasts stop growing once a woman gets her period- WRONG
*Women stop growing (in height) once she gets her period- WRONG
* You can't get pregnant from pre-ejaculatory fluids - WRONG
* Women not knowing how many "holes" down there, a lot of them think there is just one, that the urinate and have babies and have periods all out of the same hole!! WRONG

So tell me where all this misinformation is coming from? Lack of education in the schools? Misinformation between teens and kids? What do you think?

yeah they still teach us in school, its just teens have short term attention spans and don't always pay attention. they think they know everything, thus they decide to just ignore the info. so its not that schools aren't teaching us, we're just being ignorant.

Welcome to the era of abstinence "education" and mass indoctrination. Brought to you by religion.

(When Bush was in office, he actually enacted a policy that paid schools to NOT inform students that safe sex was an option. Instead, they preached about waiting until marriage (that is, the Christian definition of marriage) and left us to decipher our own bodies with minimal instruction or notification. I was subject to such policies in high school and junior high [PUBLIC schools, it's worth noting]. I was [and remain] rather appalled.)

um no im 18 and know alot of wht u sayd i think its just plain ignorance or maybe they didnt pay attention because i know i had a health class and i made sure i payed great attention n that class..but thats just me.
