Do theists and atheists enjoy the debate?

I think they do. Unless I am incredibly clever, when I post questions, I usually only get 12-15 responses, but when I hit on a hot topic like whether or not God exists, I get closer to 30 answers.

The ones who hang out here, obviously do, except for the trolls. They just enjoy conflict.

I think that the debate would be more interesting if people rememberd 2 things.

1 - Debate isn't the same as arguing

2 - Disagreement with a belief is not the same as having hatred towards people who have that belief.

There isn't really a "debate"; just an arduous attempt at education. I don't enjoy it overly much, I suppose. I just think it is important.
