do the major religions have common elements among them?

1. Indoctrination of the young typically from infancy onward into the dogma of the religon.
2. Pavlovian training--do what the dogma tells you--don't question the dogma--you get goodies eternally--do question the dogma and don't do what we tell you--very bad things happen for eternity.
In other words all of the major religons require blind faith in their dogma.
3. Social acceptability--a religion that espouses socially unacceptable practices has no staying power--a religion that requires human sacrafice for example will not have any staying power--A dogma contra to the social group it inhabits will eat at the foundation of that society and thus eat at it's own foundation.
4. The dogma of each major religion makes the claim that it is the one true religon. If they did not the religion would not last very long as the folks within that group would feel free to try out the other religions.
5. The dogma is the "divine word of " (fill in the god)

Isn't to hard to figure out they all have common elements. Pretty much anyone can see this--so if you are going to create your own religion--wouldn't the books you would write have to contain these elements--wouldn't any human writer smart enough to recognize these facts include them in his or her dogma? (lot of money in religion--even today)/. Is this why there is so little historical support and verification for any of the major religious stories?

Just a thought.
lol after reading fireballs response--I rest my case--point proven.
