Do the girls in Miss America pageant contest have a really good behavior?

I have lived in the United Stated for 3 years. I went to high school and is going to college right now. All I know from AMERICAN TEENAGERS are PARTY, ALCOHOL, MARIJUANA, and SEX. So I want to know if the contestants do actually have good behavior. And how do the organization know about the contestants lifestyle?

I do not mean to be stereotype in this case because most of the teenagers all over the world have the same problems with alcohol, marijuana, and sex.
