..have the legal rights to keep copied identification of my mother. Today, she tried to purchase a car and they were negotiating the price. It was okay at first, but they changed the price all of a sudden. My mom didn't want to pay the higher price, but all of her SSN and ID card had already been made a copy. So do they have to give those copies back and can they keep it?
