yes i am at a apartment community and get called out at all hours. when working in the a/c area called out at all times of the night. they need there air or heat what ever time of year it is. people pay to be comfortable and pay well

I met this girl and I just don't believe what she says sometimes! She says she is a technical engineer at proctor and gamble factory (makes bounty paper towels). She goes to work at like 6:30 PM and gets home around 8 AM. They make engineers work those hours? Is she exaggerating her job? I think she said she makes over 100k a year (at 43 yrs old)... possible? I mean they would have to have tech. engineers on at all times at a factory incase stuff breaks - right?

It is certainly possible in some industries. The capital investment in manufacturing equipment is so high that is runs 24/7 and there needs to be people available at all times in case of problems to assure that downtime is kept to a minimum.
