I have to get my whole tattoo touched up. Will it take as long as the original tattoo did? And will it scab up as bad as it did the first time?
I mean I got the tattoo and it scabbed up pretty thickly and did a lot of cracking, I was just wondering if it should be such a thick scab this time.
Also, I have 2 tattoos. With the first one, after the scabs fell off, there were lots of parts without color, but I didn't pick at the scabs. With this second tattoo, there are a few parts that don't have color, but the rest of it held pretty well. Why does it keep doing this? I don't ever pick at the scabs.
My first tattoo, the artist said put odorless colorless lotion on right away after washing it for the first time. My second tattoo, the artist said to wait 2 days before starting to put any odorless colorless lotion on. I did just that on both of them, and only 2-3 times a day unless it started itching, and always made sure it was rubbed in as much as possible.
