Do subwoofer amps convert stereo signals to mono?

I've got 2 12's and 2 10's on separate amps but one signal rca cable from the head unit. If I bridge the left signal to cover the left and right inputs of amp 1 and bridge the right signal to cover the left and right inputs of amp 2 will they get the same signal? I assume bass is part of the center channel in songs but who knows these days.
 
if it is bridged then yes but a 2 channel amp is not mono. however if u would like 2 subs to be mono you can put a splitter on the rca jack and plug the split jacks on both inputs, so long as the inputs are mono otherwise you will just have 2 rights or 2 lefts
