I just hooked up brand new Alpine SPS-600 6.5 inch speakers in my front doors and one of them the vocals sound alright but everything else is stat-icky and the other one hardly any sound comes out. I have a 1994 Lexus ES300, I made sure and connected the wires together perfectly. So could it be because the wires are just old?

Crimped or soldered connections. Crimped connections aren't worth the powder to blow them to Hades. I solder all my connections and shield them from vibration. I've never has a stereo failure attributed to wiring.
Burnt a dashboard out once but the stereo still worked. ROTFL.

yes over time they do or corrode too

although for a 94 this seems a lil to soon but maybe

No they'll last prob forever but you may have the polarity backwards or a loose connection somewhere.
