Zim's always been a big one, ever since Hot Topic stocked their stores full of his and GIR's faces.
Anyways, back when I was in high school, cartoons weren't exactly the big talk; it came up once in a while, and some people did watch Spongebob or Ed, Edd, N' Eddy, but for the most part, most of the kids I hung out with talked about music and other stuff, which I'll admit I was big into as well(still am, in fact).
However, I was good friends with a kid who was a huge Tex Avery fan, and absolutely loved his cartoons and the over-exaggeration in his cartoons. Throughout high school, we would watch the Looney Tunes cartoons and Avery's MGM works together, and analyze them. Both him and I had no issues talking about Tex or the Looney Tunes around other people, but I don't think either of us really cared if anyone thought less of us anyways.
