I was having breakfast at this restaurant, I was having pancakes and coffee...
I politely asked the server if she could please get me some brown sugar for my coffee, since I liked brown sugar, and I know the restaurant had brown sugar...
The server looked at me weirdly for at least a minute, so I asked again politely for her to please bring me some brown sugar, and she looked at me in a "are you sure sir" look, so I asked a third time, finally getting annoyed, but still politely and still saying please, until she finally got my brown sugar...
The thing is, the server made me feel bad about ordering brown sugar, why, is ordering brown sugar a bad thing? I wanted to call the manager and complain, because that's not how a server is suppose to act, if that's what the customer wants, just do it, don't make the customer feel bad about ordering what he or she wanted, but I didn't complain to the manager, I just let it be...
