do saint bernards wander when they are about to die?

We have had our St. Bernard for 5 years now and we woke up to her being nowhere to be found. We have looked all over. Last night before we went to bed she was yelping a bit and seemed to be nervous or something. It has been over a 100 degrees the last few days and she has been down in the cool basement. I am wondering if she was sick and went somewhere to die? Do St. Bernards do this? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks for the answers. There is no way she can be pregnant. She always sleeps in the cool garage every night with the garage door cracked if she needs to go to the bathroom. We live out in the country with only family members living around. We had brought her inside last night to sleep and she was yelping at the door so we assumed she wanted out. It did cool down quite a bit last night so we thought nothing of it.
Sure is nice to know that there are idiot LOSERS out there that don't have anything better to do than be cruel to people that are trying to get help. Grow up!
