do remote controls for cars have batteries inside them ? my friend has a 2007...

...Buick Lacrosse, and ..? sometimes the remote control to unlock the doors and trunk, does not work

if there is a battery that needs to be replaced what is the size ? and where can we buy one ?

yes, unless they are nuclear,solar or wind powered. size varies pull it out and match it at a store
