50 cent- i got shot 9 times i think..i cant remember exactly how many times, and he also loves bragging about how much money he has to spend on coke, other drugs, women with big booties, and on rims.
young jeezy- all he raps about is coke, drugs, women, and rims.
Lil Wayne- good rapper but again his voice is so raspy that you can obviously tell he has done more drugs than he should have..all he raps about is sex, drugs, and making money
One thing these rappers also have in common is how they use a lot of filthy language and love to talk about guns and violence.
When these rappers say such things in the media, is it not a surprise that the average american associates african-americans with drugs, alcohol, sex, and violence.

k'naan is a truly amazing musician. that is a good question why he doesn't get any air play.
i dont care about how much money or how many awards he has won. he doesn't deserve much of the recognition he gets. he just feeds into negative stereotypes and sells for that reason.
If I acted like a slumdog millionaire and fed into indian stereotypes in film, I would also make a lot of money.
