I'm in the process of obtaining an option 40 for a chance to become a Ranger but the only MOS with an option 40 that my recruiter could find was 92G Food Operations Specialist. He said that I would not be a normal cook in the Ranger Regiment, and that I would be able to (and expected to) fight. Is this true?
