do ragdolls have any genetic health problems?

my partner went to the vet to get some worming tablets for my ragdoll- becouse he has lost alot of weight and had been having diarrhea and vomiting, so we got the worming tablet except my partner put it in his food, but as soon as he tasted the tablet he didnt wont to eat it anymore, so we put it in the fridge to try again later that night,we ended up having to through it out becouse he wouldnt touch it. anyway a week past, his appetite came back (a bit) started putting on weight as i was feeding him kitten food- but he was still skinny, so my partner went to the vet again today and got another worming tablet, the vet was telling him that if he doesnt "pick up in a couple of days" (put on weight im assuming) then to bring him back in, becouse he said it could be this disease or genetic disorder ragdolls have.( im not accurate on the info as i was not there, this is just what the vet had told him) anyway i was just wondering what disease/genetic disorder the vet could have been talking about, i thought ragdolls where a pretty healthy cat breed with little/no genetic health problems. could someone help me im very concerned!!
