...first time offenses? Yesterday i was pulled over for driving my car with a learners permit, Police told me that i will have to have a court hearing to settle the issue regarding licensing...

i have been asked to go to the magistrates court as a witness in 2006 and the police actually came to my door in their dibby van with a piece of paper (court order) and a $5 note to make sure i attend...

I want to keep this driving offence private
(no parents having to deal with police at their door)
Because i do not want them to read the court order...

does anyone know if the court order is enclosed in an envelope and sent to my residence,
or is the police going to rock up at my house in their car and explain the whole deal (of the court day/appearance to me and so on like they did to me when i was summoned to court as a witness in 2006) to me in my parents listening range (IE, at the front door)??????
