...educated people tend to travel more? I'm trying to figure out the connection between understanding places outside of America and political values.
 
If you call republicans the rich ones, then you would be implying that they would be the worldly travelers with their own jets.
That would make one of the two hypothesis fail. Then you couldn't call the evil rich people with jets republicans anymore. You would have to call the evil jet setters liberals.
 
the education that one gets from traveling to a communist country should make one more conservative.
i guess it depends on where you travel and how you are educated.
 
I travel. I'm conservative. I don't see how traveling around has anything to do with understanding the role of government and natural rights, etc.
