do people where you live shoot guns in the air as celebration?

@charmaine: LOL no i don't live in the wild wild west haha I live in Texas right next to Mexico.... so go figure. plus my neighborhood is not the best or safest around here...
okay so I do live in Tx but it's not all cowboys and rangers and all that..... lol
 
In some areas of my town, I think they do. Mostly around me, it's just fireworks!!!
 
Yes, they have already started around my area, I have heard two. But wait until midnight--than I will be dodging bullets while sitting in my house. This is illegal but people do it though.
 
Sometimes...and it scares me cause I don't live in the best part of town. *shivers*

Oh ya but not near by I hear them say a mile away or more.
Stay away from (bad) areas.
 
My country is the most violent of all Central America, were the "narcotraficante" and "macho" culture is very attached amongst many people, so it is normal to heard not just during the new years celebrations gunshoots in the air, it's almost weekly.
