Do people honestly think "earth hour" is enough to save our environment?

As Kermit would say, "Let's have earth hour* everyday".

*Earthday
*shaking my head*
I'm far from ignorant.

I agree with you that we should be earth-friendly all the time, not just for one hour out of the year. This at least raises awareness.

I don't think it is meant to save the environment. I just think that it is a simple time to show how easy it is to leave a smaller footprint, and on saving electricity.

It isn't going to save the planet and its ignorant to think so, but it will help. Stop being a critic.

It will probably have the opposite effect on CO2 emissions, given what I know about power stations and grid loads, which isn't much but it seems to be more than many people. It is merely publicity.

Earth Hour will not save our environment. It is a symbol of the amount of people around the world that is willing to work together to help with it. But I sure hope someone computes just how much energy is saved around the world for that hour. It has to be a lot. So everyone turn ur lights off for just one hour and mabey we all can start to do it more often.

Mother Nature is Alive, but getting sicker every day
