Do pedophiles always get this much media recognition?

Or was Michael Jackson just a "special case?"
I have no proof? Lol just look at the man's photos! Would you want your child anywhere near that guy? Let alone the fact that he had a ranch in the middle of nowhere called where little kids would go.
 
It was the same networks covering his court case and talking smack about him and now they are covering this circus. The networks only care about ratings and money. It was funny watching some of the big names in news discussing this live on air. Charlie gibson and Katie Couric you could tell were uncomfortable. But hey that's what the American public wants to see. The networks had too, because that's what other americans wanted to see and if one network didn't because of belief they would have lost a lot of money or had been fired.

MJ was a great musician, maybe the best, I just wish some of the soldiers being killed overseas could get that same news time.
 
Though Michael Jackson had many countless issues you can not deny that he was a great entertainer that changed the world with his music. As far as his personal life goes..... he sucked but he music will stay with us forever.
 
The accusations against Michael Jackson were tried before a Judge and Jury and he was acquitted of all charges. If he had not been acquitted he might still be alive in jail today ? To say he is or was a Pedophile is a little strong to say the least. Michael Jackson was eccentric as a result of his fame and fortune. Michael Jackson told the world the truth about his attitude to sleeping with children. This mora or attitude is not acceptable to most people in the western world. As a parent of young children I do not accept Michael Jackson's views on sleeping in the same room or bed as my children however that was his view and he paid a great price for his honesty. The recognition by the media which Michael Jackson has received was to do with his genius as a musician not his alleged criminal history. We have very little grace and forgiveness and would rather focus on the negative rather than the creative genius of michael Jackson which we were able to observe almost daily via the media for the past 40 years
