do ovulation tests work?

I am TTC this month and i have just taken a BOOTS OVULATION TEST and the test shown a bright line i am just wondering have these tests helped you or are they rubbish thanks

your body can change in seconds. if it wants to be found positive or negative then thats it.
just like taking a pregnancy test.
