I moved into a new home a little over a year ago. When I moved in, there was this cat that always showed up at my house. He was well groomed and very friendly so I didn't think he was a stray. However, this cat started sleeping on my porch every night so I started leaving food out for him. After a year went by, we named the cat and expected him everyday. One week he didn't show up and we found him at the local shelter where he had been recently neutered.. I decided to adopt him out and really take ownership of the cat. He adjusted very well in the home but also had outside privileges. As of 5 days ago, Boots never came home and we haven't seen him since. I have been all over my neighborhoodlooking for him, talking to neighbors, and putting up flyers. I have checked all my local ssheltersand filled out missing pet reports. Plus he has a micro chip. It is almost like he just vanished. So I am just hoping that he iinstinctivelywandered off for a little while.
